Humor for Health, Self Discovery and the Control Freak with Jacqueline Kabat
In these uproariously fun workshops, we soothe our spirit and reenergize ourselves with laughter. Join Jacqueline Kabat for an experience in finding humor for health, self discovery and the control freak December 31, 2010 - January 1, 2011.December 31, 2010
Humor for Health and Self Discovery with Jacqueline KabatGuided by comedy improv pro Jacqueline Kabat, we learn the basic principles of comedy improvisation and how to use them to develop our personal potential in everyday life. Working together as a group to eliminate any individual fear, we participate and cheer for each other in a safe and nurturing environment and have fun doing it.
When we are having fun, we are relaxed. When we are relaxed, we are listening and communicating, and that is when we are able to overcome insecurities and express our full capabilities. By applying the central improv lesson of being completely present and open to whatever happens, we increase our confidence, improve our relationship skills, and learn to creatively deal with ambiguous and constantly changing circumstances.
As we continue to practice the tenets of comedy improv upon our return home, we discover we can tap into the best within ourselves in any given situation with the healing power of laughter.
