Completed in the spring of 2004, the multi-million dollar LakeHouse Spa expansion now features 25,000 square feet of pure indulgence, including over 30 indoor and outdoor treatment spaces, private outdoor couples suite, the Palm Pool, and separate locker facilities for men and women complete with a hot tub, sauna and steam room.

Accommodations

Lake Austin Spa Resort offers 40 guest rooms. With casually elegant décor and furnishings crafted by local artisans, the luxury resort accommodations encourage complete relaxation. All accommodations offer:

Cuisine

Executive Chef Terry Conlan serves three innovative, low-fat healthful meals daily. Dining is available in the dining room located in the main resort building and in the Aster Café at the LakeHouse Spa. Our cuisine is inspired by Southwestern, Mexican, Caribbean, Mediterranean and Asian influences, and all dishes are prepared with fresh vegetables and herbs harvested from the resort's own organic gardens.

Lake Austin Spa Resort now offers an interactive culinary experience to help bring guests closer to healthy eating - Culinary Experience™ weeks occur monthly and may include cooking demonstrations in our exclusive Demo Kitchen, sessions with special guest chefs from around the country, tastings and take-home culinary tips!

Lake Austin Spa resort offers up to 20 different fitness & activities daily. Gardens

As one of the first luxury destination spas to create gardens specifically for growing herbs used in spa treatments, the organic gardens at Lake Austin Spa Resort are home to more than 1,000 species of Texas plants, herbs, vegetables, spices and wildflowers. Trisha Shirey, Director of Flora and Fauna, leads classes and demonstrations on gardening topics and aromatherapy at the lake resort.
