Results Driven Treatments Use Latest Skin Care Technologies and Ingredients

AUSTIN, TX – At Lake Austin Spa Resort it is not enough to have more than 100 spa treatments on the menu for guests to choose from, they also have a dedicated person to oversee the quality of treatments and to refresh the menu year to year. Lynne Vertrees, a spa industry veteran and the resort’s Spa Director and Director of Treatment Development, combs the world for unique ingredients and the latest in techniques and products. She recently introduced fifteen new services for guests of the top rated destination spa in the United States to enjoy.

The new facial and body treatments emphasize healthy end results. Like dermatologists, Lake Austin Spa Resort employs the latest pharmaceutical and skincare technologies to deliver skin-nourishing, anti-aging benefits from head to toe. Vertrees has added 10 new facials to the menu in 2010 working with everything from the CoffeeBerry, a powerful antioxidant, blueberry extract, which promotes and protects healthy collagen to essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients to fortify and revive the skin. Medical-grade Proxylane is used in the spa’s Signature Age Arresting Facial – an innovative, anti-aging treatment to arrest and reverse sagging, crow’s feet, wrinkling and other signs of aging skin. Blueberry extract promotes and protects healthy collagen leaving the skin visibly firmer and more radiant.
