Lake Austin Spa Resort Recognizes Volunteers with New "Austin Angels" Program

Spa Encourages Austinites to Nominate Those Who Give Back

AUSTIN, TX – Particularly in this season of giving we are reminded by the generosity of volunteers – Austinites that give tirelessly of their time and energy to helping others in need.  Lake Austin Spa Resort will recognize these “Austin Angels” in a new program aimed at building awareness for charities and organizations in need, as well as thanking those who devote endless hours to community outreach.

Beginning November 30 and through December 24, 2009, people are encouraged to nominate an individual who they feel has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to volunteerism. At the end of the contest, the “Austin Angels” winners will be highlighted on Lake Austin Spa Resort’s web site at www.lakeaustin.com and Angels will be rewarded with a LakeHouse Full Day Away Gift Certificate to the spa. Winners’ names will be drawn at random and announced on December 28, 2009. Throughout the nomination period a list of charities that these volunteers contribute their time to will be listed on the spa’s web site. A total of twelve winners will be selected this holiday season and each person will receive a LakeHouse Full Day Away spa package which includes one eighty minute spa treatment, two fifty minute spa treatments, a gourmet lunch in the LakeHouse Spa’s Aster Café and access to the spa facilities including sauna, steam and whirlpool as well as gratuities for these services.
