Art of Connection: A Joomchi Experience

Explore the beauty of connection through Joomchi, a centuries-old Korean art form that transforms delicate layers of mulberry paper into richly textured, textile-like works of art.

Each guest begins with an individual composition, working with color, texture, water and touch to create the foundation of their piece. As the experience unfolds, guests will move around the table, contributing a thoughtful layer, detail or mark to one another's work. Eventually, everyone returns to the piece they began, now transformed through the hands and creative expression of the group.

The tactile, rhythmic process invites presence, curiosity and a gentle letting go of perfection, while the shared experience becomes a meditation on community: what we create individually can become richer through connection.

Guests will finish their own artwork and leave with a beautiful, tactile piece shaped not only by their personal vision, but by the collective creativity of those gathered around the table.
