Boat Cruise & Picnic | Lake Austin History and Lore (Sign Up & Additional Fee)

Join us on our five mile cruise to the northern border of Lake Austin, learning about the history of the Highland Lakes region (and a little bit of folk lore) along the way. During this 90-minute boat outing you will enjoy a picnic lunch, learn some history of the area, take in the sights, smells, and sounds of wintertime on the water, and culminate with the viewing of the Mansfield Dam. The dam is 278 feet high and is an impressive sight to see. Once photos are taken, we will resume our cruise back to Lake Austin Spa Resort. Hot cocoa, warm blankets and hand warmers are provided to make this an unforgettable one-of-a-kind experience.
