As a passionate culinary specialist hailing from the Mediterranean, Rita is dedicated to crafting fun and authentic culinary experiences that celebrate the vibrant flavors of the region. With a deep-rooted focus on health and long-term wellness, she blends tradition with creativity, using wholesome ingredients to design delicious dishes that nourish the body, mind, and soul.

Rita’s culinary journey began with her strong belief that food brings us together and time stops in the kitchen, simply enjoying the experience of flavorsome food and the pleasure of the company. She also believes that food is medicine and that eating well is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle and longevity. The emphasis of Mediterranean cuisine on freshness, fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains, is not only delicious, but also inherently healthy with an abundance of benefits contributing to the quality of our everyday life.

Shannon Wise has been a registered and licensed dietitian and nutritionist since 2002. She received education from Louisiana State University and completed an internship at Louisiana Tech University.

Shannon began her career in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to Austin in 2009. She has extensive experience in all areas of clinical practice, consulting, and wellness. Shannon is passionate about food and nutrition and the impact it can have on one’s health and well-being. Her approach is permissive while practicing intuitive style eating and appreciating each individual’s unique needs.
