For Kelly, walking isn’t about hitting a step goal, it’s about making space. Space to let think, reset, and let ideas flow without distraction. It's her every day non-negotiable that she protect at all costs. In this talk, she will share how this simple daily practice has become her most consistent tool for creativity and clarity and how she's made small shifts to make these walks a consistent, protected ritual.
Kelly Krause is the Senior Director of Philanthropy at Kendra Scott, where she leads national giving strategy, community partnerships, and purpose-driven campaigns for one of the country’s most beloved lifestyle brands. Strategic relationships and partnerships are at the core of her work—whether she’s deepening impact through philanthropy or helping brands connect meaningfully with community.
In addition to her role at Kendra Scott, Kelly consults with brands looking to thoughtfully and intentionally engage with audiences in Austin and beyond. She’s a trusted voice on connection and cultural relevance, and her storytelling spans multiple platforms: she’s a regular contributor to Tribeza and Camille Styles, previously wrote a column for Forbes spotlighting female entrepreneurs, and frequently serves as a panel moderator and host. She also curates and leads a speaker series at Austin’s Commodore Perry Estate, known for bringing together thoughtful leaders across industries.
Before stepping into the nonprofit and brand impact space, Kelly managed North American Community at lululemon, where she grew and led a new area of work by connecting with impact-driven leaders outside the fitness space. Prior to that, she spent a decade at SXSW curating programming, strategic partnerships, and mainstage conversations across music, film, and tech. She began her career in Los Angeles as a television and film publicist, launching indie film festival and TV network premieres.
Named one of Marie Claire’s “50 Most Connected Women in America,” Kelly is known for building bridges that spark conversation, drive results, and create lasting impact.
