Emily is a national presenter for Talk Saves Lives (suicide prevention) and Mental Health First Aid. She loves sharing information and teaching others about mental health topics and ways to improve daily living.

In this class you will learn meanings and symbolisms of the Tarot cards, simple ways of working with them for meditation, and for help in seeing your situations from different perspectives when making decisions. You will have an opportunity to practice interpreting the cards in simple Tarot spreads.
Paul Kevin Smith has studied the history and ways of working with Tarot cards for 22 years. He has been the coordinator of the Austin Tarot Talkers Meet-up Group since 2014. Paul has a Master of Education degree from U.T. Austin, and is an Adjunct Professor of Exercise Science and Student Development at Austin Community College. In addition, he is a Yoga teacher and personal fitness trainer, and has taught classes and offered guest consults and training sessions at Lake Austin Spa Resort since 1999.

Singer and Songwriter Eric Turner sees the guitar as an extension of his body and the lyrics as an expression of his soul.
Growing up in Ft Worth, Texas he loved to hear his father sing in the local church choir, but it was Songwriters like Kris Kristofferson and Townes Van Zandt that inspired Eric to put pen to paper and craft his own unique storytelling style of music. His soulful melodies are reminiscent of the old school country legends, but with a picking style influenced by years of oppression by world class Flamenco and Classical guitar players.
Whether playing at large venues such as the Coca-Cola Starplex or local Austin bars, Eric is always searching for ways to give meaning to both the joys and hardships of life through his bluesy songs.
