What You Should Know Before Your Visit

Transportation options to/from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport:
Water Taxi
Step into our boat and you’ve arrived! Enjoy a scenic 40 minute ride from Walsh Landing in downtown Austin, just a 15 minute ride share away from the airport. Call our concierge to schedule at 512.372.7274.
Luxury vehicle service
Guests will be greeted at baggage claim by a driver and escorted to the car. Sedans, Limousines, and SUVs are available. Major credit cards and cash are accepted. Reservations are required. For reservations, contact Lone Star Limousine at 512.990.8482.
Taxicab and ride-share
Taxicab and ride-share services are located in a section towards the back of the rental car parking garage. Major credit cards are accepted.
Supershuttle
SuperShuttle is a multi-party transportation service. The shuttle may stop for other riders prior to arriving at Lake Austin Spa Resort, so the trip may take up to two hours. SuperShuttle is located on the ground floor, exit baggage claim area #1. The shuttles are blue vans with yellow writing. SuperShuttle accepts all major credit cards. Rental car
Rental cars are available at the airport. All major rental companies are represented. You may contact them directly or through your travel agent.
Depart from downtown Austin via Walsh Landing or Hula Hut by Tom Miller Dam, Ski Shores Restaurant, Lake Pointe, or via private residences on Lake Austin that have approachable docks or landing areas. After a 30-40 minute cruise up scenic Lake Austin, arrive at Lake Austin Spa Resort where our staff will welcome you to our slice of paradise. Cancellation Policy:
Due to the exclusive, boutique size of our property, any cancellations affect us significantly. All guest reservations are subject to our cancellation policy, and it is strictly adhered to.
Cancellation & Deposit Policy: Cancellation & Deposit Policy: A $1,000 deposit per person is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation. Cancellations or changes made 21 – 4 days prior to the scheduled arrival, the entire deposit will be forfeited. Deposits for reservations cancelled 22 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded in 5-7 business days. Cancellations made 72 hours or less prior to scheduled arrival will result in a full forfeiture of the reservation amount. No refunds will be made for early departures.

Resort Dining Hours
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (reservations are recommended for dinner)
The Venue at LakeHouse Spa Hours
Lunch is served from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. with appetizers and light bites on our Nourishing Table.
Room service, snacks, and beverages are available throughout the day.
Two days prior to your arrival we will automatically collect full payment for your reservation, charged to the credit card provided. All purchases and services at Lake Austin Spa Resort can be charged directly to your room.
Additional purchases such as boutique merchandise, additional spa services, personal instruction sessions, and spa products will be itemized for your review upon check-out. Questions concerning charges should be discussed with Guest Services before departure. We honor Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Personal checks and cash are also accepted in U.S. dollars.
A 25% service charge applies to all overnight packages, spa and personal services. This service charge covers many aspects of your stay including gratuities for personal services. All service charges may be charged to your room account.

We offer a variety of movement options throughout the day, so you will want comfortable clothes and shoes. We recommend bringing two pairs of shoes—both indoor fitness shoes and outdoor trail shoes—as some of our hikes have muddy, slippery and rocky terrains.
Lake Austin Spa Resort is well known for its casual, relaxed atmosphere. This eliminates the need for items you might otherwise feel you need, such as dress clothes or jewelry. Each room has complimentary amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, soap, bath salts, and lotion. A hair dryer, umbrella, safe, mini-refrigerator, and robe are also in your room for your convenience. Plus-size robes are available upon request.
Complimentary laundry facilities are available for your convenience.
Check-in time is 4 p.m. Your room will be ready for you by 4 p.m. If you’d like to arrive early and begin enjoying your day, there is a $150 fee including lunch; shower and bathroom facilities are available in the LakeHouse Spa until your room is ready. If your room is ready prior to 4pm, we will notify you and you can access it early.
Check-out time is 12 p.m. We invite you to enjoy lunch prior to your departure. We will store your bags at Guest Services or assist you in loading them in your car prior to lunch. Boxed lunches are available with a 12-hour notice if you are unable to join us in the dining room. Please return room fob to Guest Services no later than noon. There is no refund for early departure.
Overnight and spa guests of Lake Austin Spa Resort must be 16 years of age or older. Guests between the ages of 16-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A 24-hour complimentary laundry room is located adjacent to Room 27. Detergent is provided. Please contact Guest Services for assistance.
In the interest of health and well-being, Lake Austin Spa Resort is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Spa and Resort, except a designated area on the property that is comfortable and away from other guests. This is the only area that can be used for smoking. Please note this is a change in the policy; we no longer allow guests to smoke in or near the rooms. Any evidence of smoking in guest accommodations will result in a $1,000 fee to deodorize the Lady Bird Johnson Suite and a $500 fee for all other guest room types.
Lake Austin Spa Resort serves fine wines, assorted beer, and mixed cocktails. Our culinary team has selected a variety of choices that will perfectly complement our award-winning spa cuisine. Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages into our dining facilities or public areas; however, you may bring alcohol to enjoy in your guest rooms.
Lake Austin Spa Resort is dog-friendly, and welcomes both pets and service dogs. A non-refundable $300 pet(s) guest fee is required. Please contact our Reservations Department at (800) 847-5637 for more information about our pet friendly rooms prior to arrival. A service dog is defined as “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability.”
Service dogs are permitted to accompany their owner in all public areas, including dining venues. While in public areas, service dogs must be on a leash, harness, or other restraining device. Due to health regulations, service dogs are not permitted in pools, whirlpools, or spas.
Care and supervision of your service dog is your sole responsibility.

Lake Austin Spa Resort is situated in the Texas Hill Country. The property is a non-contiguous, multi-level design with stairs, ramps, and low-grade inclines in select areas. If you have special mobility requirements, please contact us in advance of your stay so that we may address your needs to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
As a courtesy to other guests, we ask that you silence cell phones and other devices while on property and request permission before filming or photographing any class or program. We allow cell phones to be available—and encourage you to share photos of your experience with us—but not heard. Thank you for understanding and unplugging with us.

The safety, security, and comfort of our guests are of the utmost importance to us, and our policy on firearms was designed with this in mind. Careful consideration has been given to our policy and to ensuring it is consistent with Texas law. Our premises are a private property and Lake Austin Spa Resort and the LakeHouse Spa prohibit any person from openly carrying any firearm in an unconcealed or concealed manner.
